Georgia Defensive Tackle Talks Missouri

ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with a talented defensive tackle from the state of Georgia, who gave us the lowdown on his recruitment, and where the Missouri Tigers football program fits in to it.

ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with 2013 DT prospect Jimal McBride  6'2"  290  Waycross (GA) Ware County, who is being recruited by Missouri.

McBride told me that he is "on the verge" of receiving a Missouri offer.

McBride is a physical interior lineman who currently holds offers from Alabama State, Coastal Carolina, Colorado State, FIU, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Jacksonville State, Louisiana-Lafayette, Middle Tennessee, South Alabama, and Troy.

McBride is waiting on an offer from Missouri before scheduling a visit to see the Tigers.

McBride self-reported a 5.1 forty, 330-pound maximum bench press, a maximum squat of 525 pounds, and a personal best in the hang clean of 280 pounds.

McBride said that he has made 75 tackles this season.

McBride said that if Missouri offers him, he'd want to visit.  But, he said that Missouri would "probably" move to the top of his list.

We'll have more on McBride later.
