Rams Add Two More Commitments

Colorado State has recieved two more commitments one the eve of National Letter or Intent signing day, bringing the total to 15 newcomers prepared to sign with CSU.

Both new commitments are from California, bringing the total to four players from that state to commit to CSU. Placekicker Durrel Chamorro from Chino, California and Offensive Lineman Adrian Martinez from San Clemente were the first two Californian headed to Fort Collins.

They will be joined by defensive tackle Bryan Tarkington from Moorpark High in Ventura, and running back Nnamdi Ohaeri from San Bernadino. Ohaeri is transfering from UCLA, where he spent two seasons as a defensive back before sitting out last season.

Eight members of the incoming class are from Colorado, including Defensive Lineman Brian Abata from Denver's Thomas Jefferson, Wade Landers from Durango, and Shawn McGovern from Arvada. Also headed to Fort Collins are Offensive lineman James Morehead from ThunderRidge and Cole Pemberton from Mountain Vista, along with defensive back Klint Kubiak (son of Denver Broncos Offensive Coordinator Gary Kubiak), Linebacker Jacob Pottorff from Greeley West and Quarterback Grant Stucker from Ponderosa.

The emphasis on lineman stretched to the out of state recruits as well. Shelly Smith from Westview High in Avondale, Arizona can play both sides of the ball. He's joined by O-Lineman Adrian Martinez from San Clemente, California. A pair of linebackers from Oklahoma - Broken Arrow product Sedric Patterson and Jon Radford from Northeastern JC in Tulsa - are also ticketed for CSU.
