newcomers through pair of workouts Saturday.
The rest of the squad reports Tuesday night, and the entire team will be on hand for Media Day activities at Hughes Stadium Wednesday, July
31. Local and regional media members will arrive at 9:45 a.m. to interview Rams’ coaches and players, and the events conclude later in the
morning when Lubick provides a season preview.
Colorado State’s entire squad will conduct its first practice of the season Thursday, Aug. 1. Two-a-day workouts are scheduled through Aug.
16. Practice sessions are scheduled for 8:45 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. on the practice fields south of Moby Arena.
Colorado State opens the 2002 season facing the University of Virginia in Charlottesville on Aug. 22 in the Jim Thorpe Assn. Classic. The game
will be telecast locally by Fox Sports Network throughout the state of Colorado and in the Rocky Mountain region, and will be broadcast live
on the statewide Colorado State Sports Network.
