| Detchauz Wray is an athletic quarterback who passed for over 2,000 yards and 25 touchdowns as a sophomore. As a junior, he bested those numbers, passing for 2,900 yards and 39 touchdowns to just five interceptions. He also rushed for 260 yards and five more scores. He says he can bench 245-pounds, squat 375 and has a 35-inch vertical jump.
Partial senior (10-2) stats: 400+ yards rushing with six touchdowns; 1,500 yards passing and 21 touchdowns.
Wray plans on majoring in business management and reports a 3.3 core GPA and 16 ACT, which he will retake.
Wray: “I’m a dual-threat quarterback. I can run and I have a good arm. I’m pretty accurate and can read the defenses well. I’m a good overall athlete.
“I want to improve my footwork in the pocket.”
